This subject builds on the foundation studies of mechanics and gravitational in introductory physics subjects. Topics include rigid body kinematics, orbital mechanics, motion of particles in electric and magnetic fields, kinetic theory of gases, statistical mechanics, vibrations and chaotic motion. The subject develops the tools used in the design of technological applications of moving particles and students gain experience with software packages based on these tools.
