Recommended studies: an understanding of how an IT department operates and familiarity with the management of IT within an organisation, i.e. a minimum of three years experience working in an IT department
Postgraduate
This subject covers advanced topics in project management, with an emphasis on contemporary issues in the delivery of IT solutions to businesses. It considers human and organisational aspects of project management, the importance of project governance, the changing nature of project management and the role of the project manager in the global business environment.
